LIGCSA Rules & Guidelines

  1. We are privileged to play the Clubs named in the list of fixtures.
    Therefore, kindly take the greatest care of course and Club premises whilst playing and enjoying the amenities provided.
  2. Before commencement of play make yourself conversant with the local rules.
  3. Always be correctly attired when in Club Dining Rooms and when in the bar before and after the game.
    Coat, collar and tie should be worn.
  4. Any Club members of Clubs we are playing at should be called through.
  5. To be elligible for Club championships, members must have competed and returned scorecard in at least four Club events.
  6. Observe the etiquette of the game.
  7. Countback system to be used as recommended by the AGU.
  8. Home Club handicaps to be used in:

    (A) Club Championships
    (B) Captain's Trophy
    (C) Each member's first game of the year

    All other games: Home Club or Liquor Industry handicap, whichever is lowest.
  9. Handicaps all events except Club Championships:

    "A" Grade 14 and Under
    "B" Grade 15 to 22
    "C" Grade 23 to maximum of 27
  10. Club Championship handicaps

    "A" Grade 12 and Under
    "B" Grade 13 to 19
    "C" Grade 20 to maximum of 27
  11. Any member without a registered golf club handicp will play off 18 until adjusted by handicapper.
  12. A visitor without a registered golf club handicap will play off no more than 18.
